Also, I’m not sure if it’s the ad you are forced to watch when you launch a game, but I’m always at least 30 seconds behind real time. So make sure you’re not following along on the MLB app, and make sure to turn your text alerts off. It’s a sad state of affairs that this is how we have to watch games. I can almost guarantee that we will all have the same complaints a year from now. No Streaming or Casting to Other Devices or TV!?!? First, if I could give zero stars I would.

Sometimes when it goes to a commercial, it will never come back. Sometimes the video just freezes. Sometimes it just stutters every 10 seconds. Sometimes I just get audio and no picture.
I was so excited when I heard the Cubs were going to have their own network similar to the Yankees and the YES network. But, in my humble opinion the Marquee adventure has been a disaster. Like many, I had cut the cord on traditional cable. But, I am a TRUE Cubs fan and schedule and plan my days around Cubs games. Therefore, I had to use the RCN network in my building to get the games.
These issues are experienced across every TV, phone, tablet, computer, and Wi-Fi network. It’s not just the app either. If you log in via the website, the experience is just as bad. The fact that nothing has been done to address the issues, that make up the majority of these reviews, tells you that the Cubs organization really doesn’t care.
You obviously do NOT understand Chicago Cubs fans. You are a terrible network and you will not be getting another contract. Fix your app and your FORCED advertisements for PAID customers. Literally wasting my time and money for sub par content and coverage. Make all the fun shows and cute ideas that you want; you’ll still never be able to broadcast 1 game without any technical issues in the output to homes. Trash trash trash From Sinclair. No one at Marquee production should ever be able to hold a job elsewhere. Watching the games is painful.
That’s fine its whatever, cost of being a fan (same as cost of doing business lol). With that being said, a lot of times I’m not home, or at a friend’s place, or whatever. Long story short the App is straight trash, the network content is hot garbage, and you can’t stream to other devices that don’t have Airplay or AppleTV. Not to mention you have to have an iPhone, I mean if you don’t have an iPhone well you don’t have an iPhone. But, that’s neither here nor there. Marquee is owned by the Ricketts and the Cubs. STEP YOUR GAME UP!!! We deserve so much better!!!!!! Paying for a channel to get ADs during a live game Where do you get off? I pay for Marquee in addition to cable; and here you are FORCING me to watch ads through the app MID INNING.
